Context
As part of my Service Design Masters degree, I wrote my dissertation as a critical reflection on the need to de-centre humans from design given the importance and current negligence of non-human perspectives. This was explored through analysing case studies from nature and technology. Two lenses, object-orientated ontology and timefulness, were used to consider more than just ourselves. I've included the whole paper below.
